Belle Isle Nature Center

The Belle Isle Nature Center allows guests to experience an up-close view of Michigan wildlife through some very exciting exhibits and programs. You can experience the wide range of animals the center has, along with their popular Deer Encounter exhibit. You can also sign-up for the Detroit Zoological Society nature hikes to experience the wide array of nature on Belle Isle. The next hike is on Sunday, June 17, and you can RSVP here.

James Scott Memorial Fountain

One of Detroit’s most beautiful spots in the summer, the James Scott Memorial Fountain is a must on any Detroiter’s bucket list. The iconic nearly one-hundred year-old fountain is over 500 feet in circumference and features sprays that shoot water over 40 feet into the air, making it one of the best spots for pictures in the city. It’s free for the public to view, but there are fees for events and photo shoot bookings. You can find out more information on reservations here.

Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory

One of the most picturesque parts of not only Belle Isle, but also metro Detroit, the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory is an absolute must-visit when at Belle Isle. Featuring exotic and rare plants from all over the world, it’s an eye-opening place to visit in the summer months. Split into five sections, the Palm House, Tropical House, Cactus House, Show House, and the Fernery, there’s so much to see and do in the conservatory that it makes for a fun afternoon date.

With best-in-class cargo space, top of the line safety features, and cutting edge technology, the Chevy Suburban is perfect for any family. See the Suburban's available features that can keep up with your family's lifestyle.

The museum features many exhibits and has plenty of family events running throughout the summer that you can check out here.

Belle Isle Aquarium

Built in 1904, the Belle Isle Aquarium is the oldest aquarium in the country and has been a popular attraction since it reopened its doors back in 2012. There’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy, as you’ll be able to see a wide array of sea life all in one place. The aquarium is open to the public Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and you can find out more about their events here.
